Louis Vuitton - Women's Autumn-Winter 2017/18 collection in Paris (with interviews)

Artistic Director : Nicolas GhesquièreAmbiance: the designer chose the Louvre’s mythique musée and particularly in the heart of the Marly courtyard. The girls walked between the statues and on the four floors in this way, a place where the past and history intertwine with the future and travel. It is really a question of exploration and nomadism in this collection with a message that in fashion, like in culture or art, borders do not exist...Collection: urban; sporty, chic. The tribal fur, the revisited jackets. A sheepskin jacket takes the appearance of a washed out denim with its white collar, another appears sculpted in apricot fur. The zipped tops or the trouser suit add a lot more sportswear allures a biker vibe. A brown leather coat put on top of a dress. The evening tops and dresses which become night gowns with a mix & match of materials, between patent leather, silk and lace, and with a piece of fur becoming a protective cape. To note : the new boots and ankle boots made like large elastic sport socks + the multiple bags and very attractive mini models Interviews Jayden SmithIt was actually amazing and it’s very historic being here at the Louvre, it’s the most amazing venue we could have ever of asked for, I am so happy, it worked out amazinglyIf feels historic to me, it feels like something that has a heritage and a real culture, that’s why I love being a part of louis because it’s truly a long term brand which has shaped history for a lot of people’s lives. Adele ExarchopoulosWhen I looked, I said to myself, it’s funny that revenge inspired me,as at the beginning the music starts quite spiritual, then after it turns very energetic and we are not going to kid ourselves we fantasize all the time during the shows, about their dresses we are saying "I’m going to try that one on", "I must ask to see that one»...I loved the shoes, I also loved the night dresses, I think that Nicolas has something inexplicable with femininity, a sort of dignity and something always very vulnerable and rock at the same time, which I like a lot. From show to show I think every time about originality and femininity, for me Louis Vuitton is an iron hand in a velvet glove.Music from the show (only to be used in the context of the show, protected by the right to information.)
