The Best of London- Fashion Shows Spring-Summer 2016 in London (with itws)

access_time 00:02:34

It’s in the heart of london, in the popular district of soho, that the london fashion shows take place this season. a very attractive area for the english designers, who each have their own stylistic vocabulary; full of creativity and originality. proof is seen through five types of women who caught our eye in the shows. summer 2016 firstly evokes the romantic woman. soft, dreamy, sensual, the new heroines choose the victorian style dress, with long sleeves and high necked collar at erdem. they play with time periods at giles or vivienne westwood, daring refined fluidity in details at burberry prorsum, sparkling shine at mary katrantzou or simply oozing a simple and pure romanticism at topshop unique.the woman is also so colourful. daring vibrant tones, savouring any subtle mixtures. like at roksanda and her architected clothing, at peter pilotto and their sense of travel and exoticism and again at paul smith through his dresses perfect to keep us happy during the summer. inspired by the painter david hockney, the designer shows us another kind of woman.the arty woman. she’s brave and daring; her artistic influences are never far away. as seen through mary katrantzou and her multiple inspirations. the woman of jonathan anderson so self-assured, replays all the possibilities of time in keith harring’s way. louis vuitton has even taken the opportunity, this london fashion week, to show his series3 exhibition, including the creative processes of his artistic director nicolas ghesquière.but the english girl does not forget her rock attitude for a moment, which is in her blood. from festivals, to concert she asserts her style. a perfect example is at versus, versace’s second line, powered by anthony vaccarello, who became the artistic director.just like the girl at marques almeida, the liable winner of the lvmh prize, playing with new proportions, showing us that the woman never loses her rebellious spirit. an attitude crowned by the rebellion in the street organised by vivienne westwood, supported by the craziness of ktz, including of course gareth pugh’s drag queen couture, one of the most stunning shows in this london fashion week. interviews from: erdem moralioglu, jonathan anderson, gareth pugherdem moralioglu: i like the idea that she was victorian and so buttoned up, but at the same time she was coming undone and she had her hair down there was a kind of sexiness to it. jonathan anderson: this season was all about trying to lose a decade, trying to move away from a decade and ultimately you’re trying to find something that has no landmark, for your own self.gareth pugh: i like red a lot, it’s strength and power and danger and blood, there are a lot of reasons why i love red.music freee of rights / bandit & nikit /2015
